You can now sign in to Google websites using your fingerprint on Android (www.9to5google.com)

Some Google websites will make signing in easier on Android by replacing the password with your fingerprint or other phone screen lock methods such as pins and face unlock. Google is leveraging FIDO2 and the WebAuthn standards, and the actual fingerprint stays on-device and is never sent to its servers.
